Attorney Wilson is Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property, at The Hershey Company. Attorney Wilson is an accomplished intellectual property counsel worth 13 years of experience advising corporations on matters involving trademark and copyright portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting, licensing, contracts, and deal execution. She also has experience working in the pharmaceutical, media, and consumer goods verticals with a keen ability to resolve legal issues timely and within budget. Moreover, Attorney Wilson has experience collaborating with multiple business units, key stakeholders, third-parties, and paralegal teams in order to bring about innovative solutions to complex legal problems. Finally, she is skilled in crafting and overseeing global trademark portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting enforcement, licensing and litigation. Prior to working as a Senior Counsel with The Hershey Company, Attorney Wilson worked as Senior Counsel with GSK, Trademark Attorney with Park Woods LLC, and Assistant General Counsel, Intellectual Property and Licensing with Hallmark Cards. Attorney Wilson is a member of several professional organizations and served as Board Chair, Crayons2Calculators; and currently serves as a member of the Junior League of Durham and Orange County and the Durham County Library Board of Trustees. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity of Durham. Attorney Wilson earned both B.A. and M.S. degrees in Journalism from the University of Arkansas and the Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law) from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville. She serves as Vice Chair as well as Chief Partnership and Strategy Liaison with the Built2Last’s Durham Collaborative Board of Advisors.
