Adam Waxman is the Chief Development Officer of Built2Last Innovations Lab.
Adam is responsible for overseeing Built2Last’s fundraising, working with staff and board members to secure funding from a range of sources to support the organization’s mission.
Adam has spent over 17 years in leadership and frontline fundraising roles in regional and national nonprofits dedicated to social equity. He has also worked for a number of national health and racial justice organizations.
He previously led the philanthropy team at The Center for Responsible Lending in Durham. Most recently, he served in several leadership roles on the development team of The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
Adam achieved a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in 2016. Originally from Philadelphia, he is a proud graduate of Pennsylvania public schools and Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where he was a Quaker Leadership Scholar. He lives in Durham, NC with his wife and daughter and their dog JoJo.
